Bill Duffer, age 78, was born to Murray and Laura Verna Wilson Duffer in Bowling Green, KY, on April 7, 1943, and died on January 28, 2022, in Bowling Green, KY.
While serving in the Army, Bill was stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana, where he met his wife of 56 years, Florence. He made his home in Louisiana before moving back to Kentucky in 2006.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his twin brother, Willis, and three sisters, Betty, Jean, and Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Ann Duffer; one son, Steven Duffer (Renita) of Rockport IN, and one daughter, Tina Phillips (Kerry) of Morgantown KY; one grandson, Luke Duffer, and one granddaughter, Kili Phillips; one brother, Jimmy, and two sisters: Wanda and Margaret; and many nieces and nephews.
He loved spending time with his family, out fishing his buddy Kerry, and growing an array of vegetables in his garden.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life visitation to honor Bill Duffer on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Cone Funeral Home,1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
