William E. Earley, 75, of Salem, N.H. passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

He was born in Lawrence, MA, April 13, 1950, and was the son of William M. and Angela M. (Reitano) Earley. William attended Lawrence High School and graduated from Greater Lawrence Technical High School.

After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS King during the Vietnam War in Japan, Philippines, Korea, and Vietnam.

He soon married and moved to Salem, N.H. in 1972. During this time in Lawrence, he was a member of the Chieftains Drum & Bugle Corps and later worked at Merchants Tire Company for many years. He then worked at the U.S. Post Office in Haverhill, MA for 35 years, where he retired. He was also an avid hunter and had a passion for genealogy and helping people find their ancestors.

He leaves his wife of 53 years, Joanne L. (Garofalo) Earley; sons Wm. Michael Earley of Somersworth, N.H. and Stephen E. Earley of Hudson, N.H. and grandchildren, Brielle K. Earley, Treston D. Earley, and Cade M. Earley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen, MA. His funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Lucy's Church, 254 Merrimack St. Methuen, MA. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
