William M. "Bill" Egbert, 72, died on Sunday, June, 18, 2023 - Father's Day - after a short battle with liver cancer.
He was a graduate of Bishop Watterson High School (1968), THE Ohio State University (1972) and the University of Dayton School of Law (1978).
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Trudy Egbert.
Bill obtained his real estate license in 1989 and joined his wife as a Realtor, affiliated with Re/Max Associates Realty. Together, they helped many clients buy and sell their homes and condos for over 32 years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Paula Schneider Egbert; sons, Colin Egbert, David Egbert (Shannon Osborne), and Daniel (Jillian) Atlas; daughter, Teresa (Ryan) French; 6 grandchildren, Sean and Elliott Egbert, Oliver and Olana Atlas, and Rocky and Mia French; brother, Bob Egbert; sister, Marcia Egbert (Jeff Hagan); his Schneider family in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Bill at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, 93 West Weisheimer Road, Columbus, OH 43214, with a reception immediately following at the church's Beach Fellowship Hall. Rev. Kathleen Fowler officiating.
