William "Bill" Feigin

William "Bill" Feigin (1951-2023), of Pleasantville, passed away peacefully at home from appendiceal cancer on August 26, 2023. Born in Manhattan, the son of Carol and Manny Feigin, Bill and his sister, Vikki, grew up in Dobbs Ferry, where he graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School, Class of 1969. He then attended Syracuse University, graduating in 1973. Through a mutual friend, he met the love of his life, Nancy Mittleman. They married on August 25, 1974.
Before retirement, Bill was a Director at RTECH Healthcare Revenue Technologies and at PricewaterhouseCoopers; he was also an instructor at Baruch College's Graduate Program in Healthcare Administration.
One of Bill's passions was playing tennis and you could always find him on a court. Bill enjoyed cheering on the Yankees, either at home or in the stadium, though he did prefer it when they won the World Series! He prided himself on completing The New York Times Crossword Puzzle, even competing with a friend at crossword competitions. Bill also "filled-in" The Times puzzle grid on Monday nights over Zoom with his children and grandchildren.
Bill loved a weekend stroll through the Bronx Zoo with his children and grandchildren; he and Nancy would attend Patron events with them. Bill was a true gourmand and savored fine dining; he was also a devotee of live theater. An accomplished pianist, Bill adored sitting down to play one of his favorite pieces, Claude Debussy's "Golliwog's Cakewalk" and truly enjoyed attending concerts at Lincoln Center.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, his son, Michael (Erin NeMoyer), and his daughter, Kim Hild (Ray), and four grandchildren: Emma and Jack Feigin and Leah and Ryan Hild. Bill is also survived by his sister, Vikki Matherly (Steven), and their daughter, Yuan Yuan.
