Went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Bill was born March 17, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to William and Marcelline Fudge and grew up in Holt. He attended Holt High School and proudly served in the US Navy for four years and worked for the Board of Water and Light at the Eckert Station for 39 years.
Bill has been married to Patricia L. Allen-Fudge for the past five years. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pat for her love and the wonderful dedication and care she gave our dad making the end of his life joyful and happy.
He grew up attending Immaculate Heart of Mary church and served as a Deacon there for 32 years. He enjoyed his family, attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events and dance recitals. He was a long time member of the Holt Hobo's and enjoyed hunting in his earlier days. He also enjoyed watching and attending auto racing events. He enjoyed anything military, especially anything regarding the World War II era. He visited Normandy Beach in France and many other military sites on a family trip with his sister and her family to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Metz, France.
Bill was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Patrica L. Fudge (White), and is survived by their three daughters Wendy (Chris) Conklin, Cindy (Mike) Wilkinson and Julie (Craig) Sienkiewicz; grandchildren Dan Conklin, Katie Zolnai, Nick Wilkinson, Alex Sienkiewicz, and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Twaddle and his two brothers Roger and Norman Fudge and many nieces and nephews.
Before his passing he wanted it to be known how grateful he was for all the people he crossed paths with in life whether it was through work or his service as a Deacon at IHM, he was grateful for all of you.
Visitation will be held at Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes Holt/Delhi Chapel on Monday, July 14 from 5:00pm-8:00pm with a Rosary being prayed at 7:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15 at 11:00am with the family receiving friends starting at 10:00am. Interment will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass at Deepdale Memorial Gardens.
