William "Sonny" Goodson, Jr., a hardworking man dedicated to his family, passed away on February 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and a deeply profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born in Belgrade, Missouri, on September 10, 1953, Sonny led a life filled with love for the outdoors. He found solace in going on fishing trips and hunting for mushrooms, creating moments that will be forever treasured by those who shared in his adventures.
Sonny's zest for life were evident in his passion for road rides and the simple joys found in nature. His commitment to his loved ones knew no bounds, as he constantly demonstrated his unwavering devotion to family.
In the company of Sonny are now his parents Marian (Delashmit) Watson and William Arthur Goodson, Sr., who preceded him in death. Their memories continue to live on through Sonny's enduring presence in the lives of those he leaves behind.
Surviving Sonny are two daughters: Malinda Kazimir of Saint Louis, MO, and Roxanna DeClue of Belgrade, MO; two sons: William DeClue of Potosi, MO, and Tyler Hutchings of Viburnum, MO; two brothers: Lonnie Goodson of Belgrade, MO, and Darrin Portell and wife Noreen of Pacific, MO.
Additionally, Sonny is survived by 6 beloved grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a multitude of friends. Sonny’s memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
