William Carl Hallenbeck

William Carl Hallenbeck, a loving husband, devoted father, and skilled Mechanical Electrical Engineer, passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 78. William, affectionately known as Bill was born on July 12, 1945, in Greenwich, Connecticut, and resided in Norcross, GA. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Brenda Hallenbeck, his children Amanda Hallenbeck, and William "Travis" Hallenbeck and wife Mika Mason, granddaughters Rumiko and Reika Hallenbeck. Surviving twin sisters Holly Boyett Young, and Nancy Roehm.
With a bachelor's degree and career in designing mechanical electrical systems, Bill worked tirelessly in his field. His passion for engineering was matched only by his love of family and hobbies. Whether spending weekends enjoying BBQ sandwiches by Lake Lanier, tinkering on his cherished MG sports car, or renovating his home. Bill loved basebal,l especially the Atlanta Braves, and he found enjoyment in airplanes.
A proud Navy veteran, Bill displayed a strong commitment to his country and his community. Bill's love for music and his alma mater, Southern Technical Institutes, enriched his life and brought him closer to those around him. His time spent serving in the Navy instilled in him values of honor, duty, and loyalty that he carried with him throughout his life.
In honor of Bill's life, a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at 12:00pm at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Corners Chapel, following a visitation at 11:30am. Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to join in commemorating Bill's legacy and sharing stories of his remarkable journey. Bill's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Melda Hallenbeck, and brother, Richard Alan Hallenbeck.
