Bill lived a life full of heart and humor. He loved front porch sitting, woodworking, and helping his son, Chris, build his house. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, and making people laugh with his stubborn, fun-loving spirit. Three years ago, he rededicated his life to God, finding peace in faith. Rest easy, Bill, with a smile and a fishing pole.
He is survived by his children, Chris Hebert & wife, Mary and Amber Hebert Frazer & husband, John; grandchildren, Jacob, Lily, Taylor, Olivia, Marshall, Axl, Issiah, Israel, and John; great grandchildren, Jasmine and Bentley; brothers, Wayne Butts & wife, Roxanne, David Butts, and Danny Ray Butts & wife, Shelly; sisters, Joy Hebert and Sandra Blanchet.
He is preceded in passing by his father, William Hebert and mother, Bobbye Langley Butts; his longtime companion, Nelda John.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m., until the time of the memorial service at 10:00 a.m., at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 528 8th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. Pastor Jimmy White will be officiating.
