William T. Hendrix, age 71 of Cumberland, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, following a long illness.

He was born on November 2, 1953, in Seymour, Indiana to his late parents, Dennis and May Hendrix. He has a retired truck driver, having worked for several trucking companies throughout his life, he enjoyed his job and the companies he worked for. He was an avid auto mechanic and enjoyed racing cars in his earlier years. When William was home, you could find him sitting in his favorite chair watching Western movies and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and May Hendrix, brothers, McKinley, Oscar, Nelson, Walt and baby brother Hendrix, sisters, Linda K. Hendrix, and Joann Pennington, friends, Paul Cornett and Glenn Baker.
He leaves to mourn his passing, daughter, Melinda Anderson, son, William Hendrix, Jr., brothers, Tommy Hendrix, Doug Hendrix, sisters, Faye, Phyllis and Lou Hendrix, grandchildren, Shelby Anderson, Army E4-Specialist Ryan Anderson, great grandchildren, Roman and Ryder Kelly, a special friend, Terry Ison.
Services for Mr. Hendrix will be private, and the family would like to extend thanks for all the outpouring of love shown to them during their time of loss and for the wonderful care he received at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Extended Care Unit.
