William Huebl Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ritchay Funeral Home - Wisconsin Rapids on Dec. 29, 2022.
William (Bill) Huebl passed away on December 27, 2022 at Cranberry Court in Wisconsin Rapids.
Bill graduated from Lincoln High in 1972. He then attended Mid-State Vocational School and graduated from North Central Vocational Technical School where he was received into Signa Alpha Lambda Honor Society. He lived in Wausau for 37 years. Bill moved to Wisconsin Rapids this past fall when he became ill.
Bill really enjoyed family gatherings, riding motorcycle, and dancing the polka. On Sunday afternoons he could be found with his friends at the Cop Shoppe Pub enjoying live polka music (and perhaps a glass of Korbel Brandy). He was an avid reader and loved historical books as well as Patterson and other detective novels.
Bill is predeceased by his parents; Nick and Betty Huebl, brothers-in-law; Walt Jackson and Ken McKenzie, and his best friend, Bonnie Bauer Rehlinger.
He is survived by brother Phil (Donna) Huebl of Tomahawk, and his sisters; Sue (Jim) Sachs of Stevens Point and Gale Jackson of Wisconsin Rapids. His nieces and nephews, David McKenzie, Barb Luedke, Jennifer Soto, Meg Ratelle, and Daniel Jackson will always remember his teasing and silly games. Also surviving are 10 great nephews and two great nieces.
Family will gather for a private ceremony at the time of internment at a later date.
Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
