William Orland Ionata, 94, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Doris A. (Bonardi) Ionata. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Katherine (Della Cioppa) Ionata.
William worked as a Draftsman for the Keyes Corp before his retirement in 1996. He was an avid gardener and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish.
William is survived by his beloved children, David W. Ionata (Catherine) of Warwick and Paul R. Ionata of Warwick, his grandchildren Samantha Ionata, Grace Ionata, and Lillian Ionata.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 1:15PM at the Main Gate of St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston Street, Cranston for his Funeral Services at 1:30PM in the Chapel of St. Ann Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, RI 02886
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the RISPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick RI 02886.

Over the years my late husband Ron and I enjoyed the company of Bill and Doris....we often had dinner together and engaged in great conversation
He was a kind and caring man.....we´ve lost another "great" from that era sincerely.....Carol Hohlmaier ...RIP. Bill
