William Lentz Obituary

He was born August 9, 1933 in York. The son of the late Emory R. and Mary (Gladfelter) Lentz.
Bill loved riding motorcycle and spending time fixing things in his garage. William worked as a fabricator and maintenance mechanic retiring from BAE in 1998. He attended Bible Baptist Church, was a member of White Rose Motorcycle Club, VFW in Spring Grove and an AMA Lifetime member.
The services will be private, there will be a celebration of Bill's life at a later date. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St., York is assisting with arrangements.
William is survived by his children: William E. Lentz, Jr. of Middleburg, FL, Dona Veree Lentz of York, Sharon Stambaugh of York, Andy Lentz of Red Lion, Debbie Chronister (Robert) of Spring Grove, Deanna Woodward (Norman) of Spring Grove, Sherry Lentz (Dave Burton) of Shermans Dale, Bradley Lentz (Glenda) of Dover. William was predeceased by a daughter Dawn Gray. William is survived 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. William was one of 18 children to his parents and is survived by three siblings Darvin Lentz of Erie, PA, Susan Myers (Elgia) of Thomasville, Fred Lentz of York. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Community Care 685 Good Drive Lancaster, PA 17604 in William's name.
