Peggy, my heart goes out to you and all of the extended family. "Uncle Billy" was a very special person and he will be surely missed. I have no doubt that he is rejoicing in heaven, free of ailments and pain. He is probably working on some sort of DIY projects up in heaven!

Bill & Peggy were the only non-family member we ever vacationed with. We spent a week at Myrtle Beach one summer. Tim went too I think. It was very hot (over 3 continuous weeks of 100+F days) and no sea breeze. The place we stayed was on the beach "Dew Drop Inn". The kids could sleep because of the heat so we rented a hotel too. We had a great time.

I used to jog with Bill. Once we were getting ready to get started we put on some selling head wear that had pinwheels on springs above our heads. We started in his neighborhood when someone in a car stopped to ask directions. I couldn't maintain my composure but Bill calmly answered their questions.
