William "Ernest" Masters. Jr., age 89 of Acworth died Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Friday, July 25th in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Retired Chaplain Keith Masters officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Mr. Masters was a resident of Cobb County for 51 years. He worked as a Regional Service Manager for Orkin Exterminating for 47 years before retiring. Mr. Masters was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church where he was a member of the Misfits Sunday school class. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Cosby Masters and his Grandson, Kevin Crawford Masters, Jr.
Survivors include: 2 Sons and Daughters in Law - Kevin and Melinda Masters of Acworth, Keith and Karen Masters of Kennesaw, Sister - Pat Nugent of Dallas, Grandchildren - William Corey Masters, Keith Carson Masters, Chandler Louise Masters Resha, Nicholas Cosby Masters and Olivia Margaret Masters, Great grandchildren - Lainey Masters, Crawford Resha, Lyla Masters and Summer Masters.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the service begins at 11 AM on Friday, July 25th at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta.
