William "Heath" Middleton passed unexpectedly early Saturday morning on the 1st of June, 2024. His family and friends are devastated by the loss of this amazing man.
Heath was born in Lubbock, Texas, on December 19, 1968, to Buddy and Sarah Middleton. He graduated from Coronado High School and then attended Texas Tech University, earning a business degree. After a full career with Enterprise Holdings, Inc., Heath recently retired.
Heath married Tammy Buettner Middleton in September of 2006. Heath and Tammy have two amazing children: Wesley (16) and Megan (14). Heath adored his family and loved sharing outdoor adventures with them. He was a devoted son, brother, husband and father.
Heath is preceded in death by his father Buddy Middleton and his mother Sarah Middleton. He is survived by his wife, Tammy, his children Wesley and Megan, his sister Rhonda, his niece Lily, his brother Steve, and his cousin Connie and her husband Mark and their children Ben, Abby, Emma Le, and Claire Lin. Heath will be missed for his loyalty, faith and kindness. Heath helped others. He will also be remembered for his adventurous spirit and his love of the outdoors. He loved skiing in the Rocky Mountains, wakeboarding and surfing on Cedar Creek Lake, and hiking in Costa Rica.
Heath was a man of faith who lived the Word for the greater Glory of God. Heath was not proudful, he held heartfelt values, he modeled his belief in service to others, he believed in the power of love and the power of prayer. The world is less without him. Services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst (1321 Precinct Line Road). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, from 6-8 p.m., and the Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 10 a.m. The family has also invited everyone for an extended
Celebration of Life after the service at the Windview Estates Clubhouse – 4103 Windermere Court, Colleyville.
