Mr. Nix was the son of the late Sim and Ola Mae Nix.
Mr. Nix is survived by his son: William "Butch" Nix and his wife Anna; daughter: Dorothy "Cissy" Porter and her husband Dwight; sisters: Ann Moore, and Dot Barrett; granddaughter: Amber Dease and her husband Chris; great-granddaughter: Daisy Dease; and special friend: Sarah Redding.
In addition to his wife and parents: Mr. Nix is preceded in death by his brothers: Don Nix and Ron Nix; and sister: Evelyn Miller.
A memorial service will be held by the family at Oolenoy Baptist Church, 210 Miracle Hill Dr., Pumpkintown, SC 29671, on December 19, 2023 at 3:00 PM.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, prior to the service, at the church.
Davenport Funeral Home is not involved with the services.
