"Together Again"
William Marlin Otter, 81, of Fredericksburg, died peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Wooster Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.
William was born on March 31, 1943, in Waltz, Mich, to the late Marlin and Ella (Neuman) Otter. On January 25, 1964, he married Judy Wallace and they shared 53 years of marriage together until her passing in 2017. After graduating high school, William went to work for Detroit Diesel and his job led him to Fredericksburg, OH where he and his family had made their home since 1988. He enjoyed collecting guns, tending to his garden and mules, traveling in the RV camper with Judy, spending time with his Amish friends, and being around his family who will greatly miss him.
Surviving are his children, Renee and James Hobson of Fredericktown, OH and William "M.C." Otter and his companion Jan Imhoff of Deerfield, OH; grandchildren, Nathan Hobson, Tyler Hobson, and Anna (Dylan) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kolsen and Abilene; brothers, David (Susie) Otter and James (Cindy) Otter and sister, Carol Sanders. He is preceded in death by his wife Judy and his parents.
In honoring William's requests there will be no services. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
