In Loving Memory of William Connor Pitts April 4, 2002 – June 30, 2025
William Connor Pitts, 23, of Dallas, Georgia, died on June 30, 2025. Known as Connor to his friends and family, he was a natural leader whose kindness, generosity, and strength touched all who knew him.
Born on April 4, 2002, Connor grew up in Dallas, Georgia, where he excelled as a student, athlete, and leader. He consistently earned top academic honors and held multiple leadership roles throughout his school years, earning the respect of classmates and teachers alike. He was also a standout in athletics, particularly in lacrosse and jiu-jitsu, where he competed with passion and integrity.
Connor graduated with honors from Georgia Tech with a degree in engineering. He served as a dedicated and respected leader in the university's Air Force ROTC program, where he embodied the values of integrity, discipline, and service. Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Vance Air Force Base, where he had begun his pilot training-a lifelong dream he pursued with pride and purpose. His legacy of service, excellence, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Connor is survived by his parents, Thomas and Kelly Pitts, sister, Kendall Pitts, and grandparents, Jon and Barbara Bruce.
