William "Bill" E. Reichow was born March 1, 1943 in Portland, OR and passed away October 25, 2025. Raised in Verboort, he attended Visitation Grade School, Jesuit High School, Seattle University and Portland State University. Bill enlisted in the US Air Force, serving in Libya, Africa before his release from active duty on January 3, 1971. After college Bill was an accountant for the Alaskan Dept of Transportation from 1978 before returning to Oregon in 1986, and finally retiring from Fairdale Nursery in Wilsonville.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Donna (Herb) in 2013, and is survived by siblings John (Mary) Reichow, Margaret Foster, Jeanne Garner, and Vincent (Lalani) Reichow, many nieces and nephews, and his dear friend Millie Roberts and her family.
Hobbies of Bill's included fishing and camping, nature walks, planting trees and berries, watching birds and deer come to the back door, searching for firewood, visiting friends and family, and he especially loved time spent with Millie.
Funeral service will be at Valley Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1 pm, followed by an invitation to reminisce and share stories at Hale's Restaurant from 2 - 4pm. A Celebration of Life for Bill will be held at a later date.
