William "Bill" Henry Sexton Jr., age 70, passed away at home surrounded by family September 14, 2025. Bill was born to the late William Henry Sexton Sr. and Hazel Edith "Adkins" Simmones in Portsmouth, Ohio, February 14, 1955. Bill married the love of his life, Teresa "Hill" Sexton. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jim Sexton and Anita Arthur.
Bill is survived by wife of 48 years Teresa Sexton; children, William James Sexton, Jason Michael (Becky) Sexton, and Sarah Sexton; sister, Marti Sexton; grandchildren, Carson, John, Albany, Abigail, Aaron, Jericho; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill graduated from River Valley High School, class of 1973. Bill worked most his life as a machinist with Semco INC. He enjoyed the simple things in life like canning, gardening, and working on his own cars and the family's cars when able. He enjoyed going to flea markets, camping, fishing, and being outdoors in general. Bill always stayed busy and was very handy around the house. Family was a very large part of his life; he loved spending time with them and all the fun activities they would get in to.
There will be no services at this time. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Hospital. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.
