William M. Siemon, age 89, of Batesville, Indiana passed away early Friday morning, August 8, 2025 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Born November 30, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late William M. Sr. & Lula Mae (Shaw) Siemon. He was a United States Army Veteran of the 101st Airborne, having served as a paratrooper. On December 30, 1975 he was united in marriage to the former Melanie S. Sullivan and she survives.

Bill retired from Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, having worked as a machinist for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed being outside and working around his farm. He was a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his wife Melanie of 50 years, survivors include three sons: Bill Siemon, Bruce Siemon, and Barry Siemon and their families all residing in Florida; two step-children: Melissa (Matt) Hensley of Metamora, Indiana, and Tony (Diane) Pyfrin of Brookville, Indiana; four grandchildren: Toni Pyfrin, Sarah Pyfrin, Travis Schmid, and Blake Hensley; one great-grandson, Kolt Schmid; two sisters, Julie Berch and Jeannie Bell, both of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nancy Farst, and two brothers, Douglas Siemon and Michael Siemon.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public services.
