Mr. Smith was born on January 27, 1950, to the late Charles Fredrick Smith and Sarah Georgia Anderson Smith. He retired from Buffalo Trace Distillery.
He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Gorman (Preston) and Andrea Morse (Russ); close companion, Patricia Ralston; sister, Georganne Johnson (Jimmy); grandchildren, Tyler, Jenna, Kendall, Carlie, and Chloe; and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jana Lee Thurman Smith; and brothers, Charles Smith and Johnny Smith.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson and Tony Ernspiker.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
