William "Boser" Teetz

William "Boser" Teetz passed away at his home on January 8, 2026. He was a man of quiet strength, deep kindness, and unwavering devotion to family.

Bill was the beloved husband of Sandy Teetz, with whom he shared more than 27 years of marriage. They built a life rooted in love, faith, and simplicity in Johnstown, NY, where Bill felt most at home. An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed biking, running, and spending time on his six acres of land.

Affectionately known as "Boser," a nickname given by his grandchildren, Bill was soft-spoken yet witty, often surprising family with his subtle humor. He was a devoted stepfather to Tammy Cetnar (Jim Kempf), Trisha Ticktin (Rob Ticktin), and Todd Cetnar (Chrissy Stack), and a loving grandfather to Cooper and Julia Ticktin, and Finley and Isabella Cetnar.

Bill cherished spending time with the grandkids and actively participating in any activity they wanted even if it included allowing them to paint his toenails. A fond memory will be while the family would be indulging in a big Italian meal, Bill would be quietly sitting at the table eating his peas, a potato and a simple salad.

Guided by strong faith-based values, he lived humbly and intentionally.

William "Boser" Teetz will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his kindness, integrity, and steady presence.

In accordance with Bill's wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.
