William C. Terrey, 76, of Crystal Lake, passed away on June 21, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 15, 1947, to Charles and Bernadette (McGowan) Terrey.
Bill was the beloved husband of Randee (Vanicek) Terrey for over fifty years until her passing. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and David Bradstreet, and his grandsons, William and Jakob Bradstreet. He is also survived by his brother, James (Norrine) Terrey of Georgia.
Bill served in the Army and recently went on an Honor Flight to Washington, DC, with other veterans. He worked as a ramp serviceman at United Airlines, where he made many friends, and later at Snap-On Tools. Bill enjoyed traveling to Hawaii with his wife, Randee, and was passionate about supporting veterans. His love for his grandchildren was evident to all who knew him.
He volunteered with Tunnel to Towers and Veterans Path to Hope and was a proud veteran. Bill also enjoyed trips to Texas with his family. His impact on his family and friends was significant and enduring.
Memorials can be made to Veterans Path to Hope in Crystal Lake, in Bill’s name.
