William attended Walter M. Williams High School and was a 1980 graduate. William worked many years for Anadean Hosiery Mills and the City of Burlington. He worked for the Water and Sewer Department until his retirement.
William leaves to cherish his memory, a son, William D. Turner Jr.; three brothers: Karen Vincent (Sandura), Terry, L. Turner (Patricia) and Duncan Turner; one sister Debra A. Turner (Speedy) and a host of relatives and friends
