William Franklin Womack Jr.

Mr. William "Bill" Womack, Jr., age 68, of Honaker Virginia went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 28, 2025 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. Born February 26, 1957 in Hampton, Virginia, he was a son of Gay Womack of Boynton Beach, Florida and the late William Franklin Womack, Sr. He had formerly been employed at the Honaker Waste Water Treatment Plant and was a member of Honaker Church of God. He enjoyed reading his Bible and listening to gospel music.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Nellie Corns.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of nearly twenty-seven years, Martha Victoria Womack of the home; special great-great-nephew, Linkon Dela Riva of Honaker; sister-in-law, Ellen Carello of Honaker; one aunt, Sue Flatow of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Pastor Paul Day and Rev. Larry Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Compton, Joe Tiller, Stevie Hess, Rick Vanover, Linkon Dela Riva, and Anthony Dela Riva.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
