Willie Louis Nelson

Willie Louis Nelson was born May 24, 1948 to H.N. Nelson and Willie Mae Jackson Riley. He transitioned from this life Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 6:02 p.m. at Christus Trinity Mother Frances, 800 East Dawson, street Tyler, Texas.

He was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School, Texarkana, Arkansas. He was also a (Die Hard) Dallas Cowboys fan. Willie joined the Park Avenue Baptist Church at a early age under the Rev. Geore Williams.

He was preceded in death by his father H.N. Nelson of Texarkana, Texas and mother Willie Mae Jackson Riley of Texarkana, Arkansas , stepfather James A. Riley Sr. of Texarkana, Arkansas, his grandmother Jesse Nelson of Texarkana, Texas and his grandparents of Idabel, Oklahoma and Rachel Jackson, and his sister Daisy Duckett Cridell of Texarkana, Arkansas. He leave to cherish his memories is his family.

One sister: Jeanette Riley Lampkins of Ashdown, Arkansas.

Two brothers: James A. Riley Jr. (Birgit) of Jacksonville, Florida, Anthony W. Riley (Alleen) Cantonment, Florida.

Three aunts: Lula Jackson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Velma Roper of Las Vegas, Nevada, Doris Jones of Steelwater, Oklahoma.

Two uncles: Levester Jackson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Edward Jackson of Idabel, Oklahoma.

Five nieces: Renee Duckett, Joselyn Cridell, Alexis Lampkins of Ashdown, Arkansas, Sheena Riley of Livingston, Virginia, Jacquea Lampkins of Plano, Texas.

Five Nephews: Patrick Burns of Bossier City, Louisiana, Robert J. Lampkins III of Ashdown, Arkansas, Julian Lampkins of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Malcolm R. Lampkins of Texarkana, Texas, Dominique Lampkins, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A host of cousins, acquaintances and friends.
