Wilma Hoermann, age 98, peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was born October 16, 1923, to Edward and Amanda (nee Meilander) Abram in Bedford, Ohio. Wilma enjoyed sewing, gardening, and loved to read. She was a dedicated member at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Valley City, where she was a member of the choir and bell choir. She was also a founding member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Wellington, Ohio.
Left to celebrate Wilma's life are her loving children, Patricia Spevock, Ken (Suzanne) Zacharias and stepdaughter, Elise Hoermann; cherished grandchildren, James Spevock, II, Joel (Jennifer) Spevock, Bryan (Shannon) Zacharias, Jeff (Kerri) Zacharias; adorable great-grandchildren, Max and Reagan Zacharias; many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will welcome visitors on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 10 to 11AM at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 1377 Lester Rd., Valley City, Ohio with the service at 11AM. Interment to follow at the St. Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family on Wilma's guestbook at www.WaiteFuneralHome.com.
