Wilma Williams was born on April 16, 1940 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Dennis Callahan and Lucretia Sizemore Callahan. She was united in marriage to Garnett Williams who preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, James Daniel Williams of Somerset, Kentucky; David Wayne Williams of Lehigh Acres, Florida; Jeanene Williams-Dombrowski and husband Randy of Cape Corral, Florida; Robert Bruce Williams and wife Teri of Sykesville, Maryland; three siblings, Bob Callahan, Wanda Mills and David Callahan; ten grandchildren, Robbie Williams, Justin Williams, Jennifer Mays, Chad Williams, Davey Williams, Josh Williams, Rachael Williams, Spencer Williams, Jordan Dombrowski, Connor Williams; six great-grandchildren, Keira Rosa, Cayden & Chase Williams, Dorian Cundiff, Parker Williams, Peyton Williams, Beckham Williams plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Wilma was also preceded in death by five siblings, Edna Cowan, Willie Callahan, Hellen Southerland, Jean Hudson and Anne Whitworth.
Wilma Williams departed this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 being 82 years, 10 months and 28 days of age.
The funeral service for Wilma Williams will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Noah Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in Hedrick Cemetery in London.
Live streaming of the funeral service will be available via the Bowling Funeral Home Website and Facebook Page.
The family of Wilma Williams will receive friends beginning at 6:30 PM Tuesday and 12 Noon Wednesday at Bowling Funeral Home.
