Wilrey J. Castille

Church Point, LA: Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Wilrey Joseph Castille, 78. Mr. Castille, a native and resident of Church Point, died Tuesday morning, October 22 at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing and Rehab in Church Point. Rev. Stephen Castille, his son and the Administrator of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, LA, will conduct the Services with Entombment immediately following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Richard Castille of Church Point; his daughter, Catina "Tina" Castille Ortego and husband Blaine of Grand Prairie, LA; his sons, Rev. Stephen Castille of Larose and Tim Castille and wife Holly of Salem, OR; three grandchildren, Andy and Veronica Castille and Carlie Veillon and husband Kadon; a sister, Fabiola Lanthier and husband Murphy of Church Point and his brothers, Aubrey Castille and wife Cathy and Raphael "Noo" Castille-all of Church Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curley Castille and Vangi Colligan Castille and his brothers, Gerald and Ronald Castille.
Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 8:00 AM until time of the Services on Thursday. A Rosary will be recited at 1:15 PM by Rev. Castille.
A manager at Winn-Dixie for a number of years; Mr. Castille was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA (337) 684-5488.
