Winfred Brannan "Win" Brown Jr.

Winfred Brannan Brown, Jr., 66, passed away on June 17th, 2023. Win Brown was a beloved husband, father, and friend. He leaves behind his wife, Sherry Brown; two sons, David Brown and Timothy Brown; brother, Robert Brown; sister, Joan Lathrop; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Brown Sr.; mother, Margot Brown; and sister, Pam Tarpley.
Win Brown was born on September 23rd, 1956, in Weatherford, Texas. A native of Weatherford, he graduated from Weatherford High School in 1974 and attended Weatherford College. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Texas Tech University and went on to obtain his Masters of Practical Theology from Oral Roberts University, graduating in 2016.
Win was a property tax consultant for over 30 years and currently worked part-time at Kirkwood & Darby. He worked at The Gathering at Brock as the Care Pastor, and also served on the Board at Grace House, as a Chaplain at the Parker County Senior Citizens Center, and was a Chaplain at the DFW Airport for nine years. Win loved his family, his Church, and serving His Lord.
Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, conducted at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas. A graveside service to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.
