Ms. Winnie Joyner Dickerson, age 86, died Sunday, July 13, 2025, at home with her daughter, in Jacksonville, Georgia.

Ms. Winnie Dickerson was born October 24, 1938, in Rowan County. She was the daughter of the late Ruben Joyner and Myrtle Rogers. Ms. Dickerson owned and operated a day care facility in her home for over twenty years and then continued caring for others as a home health aide.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Edward Oldham, and her second husband, Earl Dickerson.

Ms. Dickerson is survived by two children, Greg Alan Oldham and wife Barbara of Dothan, Alabama and Kathy Dawn Green of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren, Mark Oldham and wife Mary of Rochester, New York and James Nicholas Green and wife Michele of Jacksonville, Georgia; and four great-grandchildren, Olivia Michele Green, Lincoln James Green, Seth Oldham, and Audrey Oldham.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

The family would like to thank Coastal Hospice of Hazlehurst for their special care.

The arrangements have been entrusted to Wilkes Funeral Home of Vidalia.
