Pawtucket – Yolande R. (Tremblay) Ouellette, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Lucien P. Ouellette. Born in Burlington, Vermont, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Irene M. (Pelletin) Tremblay, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life.
Yolande was a CNA at the former Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket, for many years until retiring in 2011. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook, read and spend time with her family. She enjoyed following the world news and working in her yard.
She leaves four daughters, Cecile Alward and her companion, Mark, of Wakefield, Denise Lobo and her husband, Mario, of Rehoboth, Lucille Santis and her husband, Richard, of North Scituate and Michele Stirrat and her husband, Chris, of La Quinta, California; three grandchildren, Daniel Santis and his wife, Brittany, Paige Courtemanche and Nathan Courtemanche; three great-grandchildren, Sophia Santis, Daniel Santis and Logan Santis; two sisters, Helen Crory and Suzanne Lerio and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Tremblay, John Tremblay, Robert Tremblay and Janet Bichel.
Services followed by interment at Notre Dame Cemetery will be private. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted with William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
