She will await the resurrection at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery (4805 Hazard Road-Petit Anse) in New Iberia, LA.
Visitation hours will be observed at Mt. Zion Baptist Church (Petit Anse) on Saturday, April 12, 2025, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Yvonne Latulas was born in New Orleans on May 15, 1956, to Leona Latulas and Hugh E. Adams, Sr. "Vonne" as she was affectionately known by many, was a resident of New Iberia, LA who transitioned at 2:56 P.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her residence.
Yvonne accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was a member of Pilgrim Progress Church in New Orleans, LA. Upon her move to New Iberia, LA, she became a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church (Petit Anse) in New Iberia, LA.
Yvonne was the second oldest of four siblings: Velma Lee Walker (Michael Sr.) of New Iberia, LA and Mary L. Walker of New Orleans, LA and one brother, Hugh Latulas of New Orleans, LA.
She leaves to cherish her fond memory, her children, two daughters: Kea Latulas (Marcus) and Simetra "Meka" Latulas (Demeterius "Meatball" White, Sr.) of New Iberia, LA; three grandchildren: Demeterius "Bo" White, Jr., Trae Collins, and Jefferey "Butter" Scott, Jr.; special sons, Marcus Polk, Meatball, Jeremy Olivier, and Justin Olivier; godchildren, Joseph Hamilton and Tasha Wilson; special nieces, Phleasha Vinnett, Latoya Snyder, Tory Latulas, and Tanisha Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends who know that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leona Latulas and Hugh E. Adams, Sr. one grandson, Collique Lashae Collins; niece, Shentell Walker Brown; and brother-in-law, Henderson Walker, Sr.; Jefferey Scott, Sr.
Active pallbearers are Demeterius White, Sr., Michael Walker, Jr., Tyler Walker, Shawn Vinnett, Patrick Snyder, and Marcus Polk.
Honorary pallbearers are Trae Collins, Jeremy Olivier, Demeterius White, Jr., Charles Watson, Michael Walker, Sr., Jefferey Scott, Jr., and Hugh Latulas.

To The Family It Hurts me to write this because we have all lost a good person a mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother and to me a very dear friend. Witch I Still can't believe has passed away.but I will truly miss her everyday. So to the Family I know it hurts because it's hurting me as well but we all have to be strong and know she's in good hands we all loved and miss you Yvonne your Friend Mary B.
