Yvonne O'Connor, 91, of Wilmington, passed away October 4, 2024. Born in Bath Co, Kentucky, she is the daughter of the late Carl McGlothin, Sr. and Annabelle Goodpastor McGlothin. She is also preceded in death by her husband, J. Clifton O'Connor; daughter, Janet Setters; sister, Eulene Woods; brother, Granville McGlothin; and son-in-law, Roger Henderson.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Henderson of Wilmington; granddaughter, Jana Leigh Weeks and husband Tim of Wilmington; great grandson, Ethan Charles Weeks; sister, Theda Davis of Marion, Indiana; and brother, Carl McGlothin, Jr. of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
The family would like to express their love and gratitude for the care she received from the staff at Poplar Grove Memory Care Center in Burgaw, NC, and from Amedisys Hospice Care.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm, at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services, and you are invited to join the family in celebration of her life.
