Yvonne Sharon

Yvonne Sharon, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 84. She was a resident and native of Plaquemine, LA. Visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm, celebrated by Father Jason Palermo. A rosary will be recited at 11am by the Catholic Daughters. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Sharon Culmone and husband Joey, and Tonya Sharon Simon and husband Terry; grandchildren, Eon Simon and wife Erin, and Terryn Simon; great-grandsons, Parker and Wesley; brother, Peter Palermo and wife Charlene; nephew, Andrew Palermo; great nieces, Demi, Dilliah and Delainey; sister-in-law, Barbara Pritchard; brother-in-law, Michael Sharon and wife Sue; niece, Margaret Pritchard; aunt, Rosalee Landry Lindsey; and special friends, Frances Haydel and Gillie Courtade. Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Boyce Sharon, Jr.; parents, Peter and Mary Landry Palermo; aunt, Rita Landry Tullier; and brother-in-law, Jansen Pritchard. Yvonne enjoyed spending time with her family and playing Pokeno with her card group. Special thanks to her neighbors Mark and Carol Burgess for their love and devotion that was shown to our mother.
