Zaire Ladale "Noodle" Davarous Jenkins, aged 18, of Greenville, SC, departed this world on December 26, 2024, returning to his heavenly home. Born to Tasha Walker and Ladale Jenkins on November 21, 2006, in the very town where he would also find eternal peace, Noodle was a beacon of joy and faith in the lives of all who knew him.
As a proud senior at Berea High School, Zaire was not only a diligent student but also an ardent basketball enthusiast and aspiring rapper. His love for music and sports was eclipsed only by his unwavering faith, having been baptized into the family of Jesus Christ on October 27, 2024.
Noodle's life was a tapestry of deep relationships, marked by his profound love for his family including his devoted mother Tasha, his father Ladale, his brother Zamarian "Mari," and a spirited community of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Although preceded in death by his grandparents Thelma "Lena" Walker, Calvin Walker Sr., and by those who lovingly awaited him in the afterlife, his fervent spirit is carried on through his great grandfather, David "Pops" Davis, his special aunt Tammie Albert Bembery, and his uncles Calvin "CJ" Walker Jr., Thomas Walker, Corey Jackson, Dominique Jones, and his aunt Erica Jenkins.
Remembered as faith-filled, optimistic, and passionate, Zaire "Noodle" Jenkins leaves behind a legacy of unshakable positivity. His radiant smile and infectious enthusiasm for life will continue to inspire and uplift the hearts of those he touched. Though he walked this earth for just a short while, his spirit will resonate for an eternity.
Memorial Service will be held at Victory Temple Missionary Baptist Church on Hampton Ave on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 2pm.
