Zane Tyler Justis, known affectionately as Zane, graced this world with his presence on September 21, 2003, in Edmond, Oklahoma. His journey on earth came to a peaceful close in the same loving community on September 24, 2025. Zane's life was a beacon of kindness and joy that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Born to Paul and Shawna Justis, Zane was a cherished son and a protective younger brother to Keaton. His family circle extended to include his Nana, Savannah Hill in Edmond; uncle, Cannon Justis in Stillwater, as well as his aunt and uncle, Lisa and Destry Walsworth, in Tyler, Texas. A host of cousins, friends, and a community that loved and supported him surrounded Zane throughout his life.

Zane's early education at Santa Fe High School laid out his academic achievements and was matched only by his unique and adventurous personality. Zane was very deep yet simple and would challenge a person to think in very different perspectives. Following his high school years, Zane answered the call of duty and served his country with honor in the Navy for two years. His commitment to service was a testament to his strength of character and his unwavering sense of responsibility.

Rooted in his Christian faith, Zane lived a life reflective of his beliefs. Zane's interests were as varied as they were vibrant. An avid reader and writer, he found solace and inspiration in the pages of books and the power of words. The great outdoors was his sanctuary, where he could be found hiking trails, playing football, and playing basketball. Bowling, playing pool, and working out were not just hobbies but passions that fueled his zest for life.

Zane's love for movies and music was a thread that connected him to family and close friends. His adventurous spirit was contagious, and he was always up for venturing into new experiences, keen to find what might capture his interest next.

Described by those who knew him best as curious, intelligent, and funny, Zane's legacy is one of love and laughter. He possessed a rare combination of wit and wisdom that endeared him to all generations. his readiness to offer a word of encouragement or a helping hand were hallmarks of his endearing personality.

As we bid farewell to Zane Tyler Justis, we celebrate a life that, though brief, was lived to the fullest. His memory will continue to inspire us to approach life with the same fervor and curiosity that he did. Zane's spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of those he touched, and his story will be told with love and admiration for generations to come

A service honoring Zane's life will be at 5pm on Monday, September 29th at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
