In Loving Memory of Zepheniah Johnson (1940–2025)

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a well-lived life that we announce the passing of Zepheniah Johnson, who departed this life on September 5, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born on October 4, 1940, in the humble village of Ticky Ticky, Christiana, Manchester, Jamaica West indies, Zepheniah was the cherished son of Irene Wilkinson Johnson and Hubert Johnson. He later made his home between Horse-Shoe Corner, Grey ground, Manchester, Royal Flat, Manchester, Jamaica and Houston, Texas, where he left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Zepheniah was a man of boundless energy and infectious joy. His laughter could light up a room, and his presence brought comfort and strength. Though jovial in spirit, he was also firm and decisive a man who never shied away from responsibility and who met every task with unwavering commitment. His hands were never idle, and his heart was always open.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Morlace May Johnson, whose love and partnership spanned 58 years. Together they raised a beautiful family: Michael "Mikey", Maxine, Jasmine, Zephaniah "Junior", and Terryann. His legacy continues through 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, as well as his beloved sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends across Jamaica, the United States, and beyond.

Zepheniah's life was a testament to faith, family, and fortitude. Though he has departed from this earthly realm, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
