Zettie Mae Jones, born on February 17, 1962, in Farmersville, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2025, in Mesquite, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy marked by kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family.

Zettie cherished her role as a mother and was especially proud of her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and her joy in them was evident to all who knew her. She delighted in the small moments shared with her family, nurturing those connections that she valued most.
In her leisure time, Zettie enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, often gathering with friends and family for spirited games filled with laughter and friendly competition. She was also active on social media, where she enjoyed staying connected with loved ones and sharing her adventures.
Her commitment to family was not only her proudest accomplishment but the cornerstone of her life. Zettie touched the hearts of many and will be remembered fondly for her warmth and generosity.
Visitation will be held on July 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A Wake Service will follow that evening at 7:15 PM. The Funeral Service is scheduled for July 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas - Allene. She will be laid to rest on July 7, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
Zettie Mae Jones will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those she loved.
