Zonya Joy Yeilding

Zonya Joy Yeilding entered heaven on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 20, 1948. She cherished her beloved parents Rev. A.K. and Vadie Davis. She met Gregg, the love of her life, while working at Hertz in 1974. They were always a great team and most recently worked to aid churches through financial services.
Her grandchildren described her as funny, youthful, warm-spirited, giving, wise, prayer warrior, thoughtful, tough, and loved on-line shopping. She loved her family, glass room, the Thunder, sunglasses, her dogs, sweet tea, storms, feeding the ducks, Trump, Juicy Fruit gum, blue nail polish, and Mexican food. She loved to make pancakes for her family, take them on late night donut runs, and playing the piano. Above all, she was the most generous person; she was always giving to her family, missionaries, and churches.
Zonya was known as "Grammy" to her family and many others. She loved Jesus and spent many hours in her prayer closet praying for others. If there was a need, she was going to find a way to help. She made everyone feel special. Gregg and Zonya have helped many churches, pastors, ministries and countless individuals in many ways. Zonya had a passion to spread the love of Jesus. Her family will forever be grateful for her living out a life of generosity, thoughtfulness, and love.
She is survived by her husband, Gregg; children Sumer, Vada, and Autumn; son-in-laws Jason, Michael, and DJ; Grandchildren, Josh, Sarah, Makaela, Macy, Maddax, Hannah, Jaxon, MacGreggor, Malachi, Madden, Rexton, Mattie, Maizy, Morgan, and Skylie; Great-grandchildren, Kolt, Huntleigh, and Hudson; siblings, Connie Yell, Danny Friday, Michael Friday and Vicki Cook.
Please share your favorite memory of Zonya. There will not be a formal service, per Zonya's request. The grandchildren will be celebrating her life on Christmas Day.
