Mary and Family, I just stumbled across Gregs obituary! I'm so heartbroken for you!! Rest assured I am sending lots of prayers of strength and comfort in navigating your loss. I imagine him in Heaven living it up with God, Mary, and Jesus with a beer, bonfire and a banjo! And hay bales. Not sure why, but that's what I see! I will be donating to his charity and Mary, IF I can do anything at all please let me know it would be an honor!!! If you want to pray together sometime I'm up for it! I sure miss you and think of u everyday and sending lots of love to u and your family!! You are the best! Prayerfully love you so much! Love Kathleen (legion of Mary alum)

My sincere condolences to the Hobbs Family. Mr. Hobbs was a wonderful gentleman. I met and worked with him closely when our agency moved into the 333 Six Forks building. He was always accommodating to meet our agency needs. I would occasionally see him in passing and he would wave. Truly a wonderful gentleman.

I love thinking about Uncle Greg at the farm in North Carolina. I'll always remember how his face would light up when we greeted him and sat down for drinks or a card game during holidays, surrounded by family. His warm, welcoming smile, tinged with mischief, is something I see in his kids, especially Teddy. I fondly recall a time when he spoke about his love for Aunt Mary. I remember him looking at her and saying something along the lines of, 'She's so pretty; she could have chosen anyone, and for some reason, she chose me.' I remember the smile on his face, a moment when Aunt Mary shared a glance, raised her eyebrows, and said 'well,' much like Mimi or Aunt Janie. I believe Uncle Greg hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. It was cute. I love Charlie, Teddy, and Rosie deeply, and I know they loved their dad. Wishing all my cousins a wonderful time in Raleigh this weekend.

For several years, we had the privilege of knowing Greg, whom we affectionately refer to as Br. Greg. He's been a source of great admiration for us. Every time we spent together, I cherished the pearls of wisdom he shared.
Greg was not only a man of profound faith and prayer but also an active member of the Legion, always eager to serve the Lord. His life was a testament to his missionary spirit, constantly striving to guide others toward the path of faith.
His love for his family was immeasurable, and he spoke of them with boundless admiration and pride. He had said numerus time that his greatest blessing is his wonderful family that he is blessed with.
The numerous occasions on which Greg and his wife, Mary, generously welcomed us into their home are too numerous to tally. His absence will be deeply felt by all of us. We consider it a true blessing to have known both him and Mary and will forever treasure every moment we spent with Br. Greg.
Br. Greg , You fought a good fight and now it´s time for your eternal reward.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Hobbs family.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Hrideep and Minnu
