Reggie, This is a voice from 40 years ago, Ronny Rogers from Raleigh. I happen to see your mom's passing in the paper and a flood of memories came rushing forth. I remember your mom well as a teacher at Jefferies Grove Elementary and of course at your home. She was the consummate southern lady. Always most gracious and warm. My brother Greg and I have many fond memories of playing basketball, pretending to be the Tarheels, swimming in the pool, playing the drums to CCR and Three Dog Night and you driving us through the woods in that crazy car. Hope you're doing well and know that your old friends in Raleigh are praying for peace for you during this most difficult time. Ron Rogers

Mrs. Abbott was my art teacher at EE Smith. I still have fond memories our art field trip to one of her favorite places, Brookgreen Gardens. She loved beautiful things and inspired her students through her beauty, talents, and kindness. ~Peace to a lovely lady~
