Carl Edward Norris, Jr., 67, of Keyser, WV, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018.

Born on January 31, 1951 at Keyser, WV, he was a son of the late Carl E. Norris and Anna Lee (Miller) Norris Newman. He also was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Nellie Miller and Walter and Nellie Norris.

Mr. Norris was a 1968 graduate of Keyser High School and was retired as a school bus driver with the Mineral County Board of Education. Mr. Norris enjoyed Nascar racing and was a loyal WVU Mountaineer football fan. He also was an avid reader, his favorite author being Stephen King and he enjoyed playing Play Station and video games He also served in the United States Army from 1971-73.

Surviving is his fiancee, Barbara Mauzy of Keyser; his daughter, Emma Foster of Greer, SC; two grandchildren, Tayshun and Jacoby Foster; two brothers, Rex and Mark Norris, both of Keyser and four sisters, Bonnie Keller and husband Bill and Patsy Kuhn, all of Keyser, Brenda Beavers and husband Doug of Westernport, MD and Nellie Smith of Rawlings, MD. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Military honors will be accorded.
