Arthur Tipton Obituary
Arthur Ireland Tipton passed away November 1, 2017 in Humble, Texas. "Tip" as he was known by his friends, was a former Humble ISD coach and former Assistant Superintendent of the Humble School District. He was an avid fisherman and loved sharing the vegetables from his garden. He treasured his many friendships and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Mina Tipton and his sister Mary Ann Fleshman. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Ruth Tipton and his sister Jane Fowler and husband Pat. He left three children: Ted Tipton and his wife Nancy; Terri Holder and husband, Marc; Tammy McKnight and husband Jeff. Tip and Ruth have 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren that they loved to spoil.
Services were held Saturday November 4th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Humble, Texas. Pallbearers will be: Josh Tipton, Andy Tipton, Aaron Pate, Cody Holder, Lee McKnight, Dustin McKnight, and Andy Davis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humble Area Retired Teachers Association for scholarships. PO Box 5102 Humble, TX 77347

Arthur I was a great guy and I enjoyed every minute that I got to work with him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my prayers are with yall. Treasure those memories, keep them close in your heart.
