BILLY & I WERE IN THE SAME FIRE TEAM IN KOREA. WE WERE CALLED THE BLACK JACKS. 1ST MARINE, BAT, BAKER CO 2ND PLT. I HAVE A FEW PHOTO'S OF US IF YOU WOULD WANT THEM. Glynn- I just heard about the passing of your father and the funeral today. I read the obit and was very impressed by what a great guy your Dad was in this life. You are in my prayers today.

The family of Olga Ramirez Gallegos extends it heartfelt sympathy to Billy's family. Olga's life crossed with Billy's when she searched for her brother, Joe Ramirez, Sr, who was listed as MIA in the Korean Conflict. Responding to an article she found in the newspaper, she wrote to the Chinese Republic inquiring about her brother. She soon received a letter from Joe saying he was a POW in China and there were others from the Houston area in the same camp, one being Billy Brown. The Houston families of the POW's were notified. Mom met Billy years later and I understand it was a joyful and tearful meeting. Billy came to mom's funeral October 2016. May he rest peacefully in the Kingdom of God.

My condolences to Aunt Eloise, my cousins Glynn and Kyle and all of my cousin Billy Allen's family and friends. Be assured that as you have a reunion with Billy's surviving family and friends celebrating Billy's exemplary life, Billy is also having a family reunion in heaven with all the family that have passed before him including his Grandfather and Grandma Brown, Father Otis, Brother Larry, and my Dad .. Billy's Uncle Howard. Have a great time .. that is what Billy would want! Peace to you all!
