Billy Ray Mooring Sr. was born on May 30, 1949, in San Luis Obispo, Ca. to Hildra and John Mooring and passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 13, 2015 in Kingwood, TX. He is now in the arms of his long life love, Dorothy Mooring two stepping the Heavens away to some good old country music. Billy and Dorothy lived in Humble, TX where the raised their three children.
Those left to honor and cherish Billy's memory are Carol Roden (daughter), Billy (Son) and wife Jennifer Mooring, and Wrinkles (John) Mooring. In addition to his children, Billy is survived by his brother, John Mooring, sister Delores Davis, brother in law Harvey Black and wife Karen, grandchildren Nick Roden, Crystal Roden, Bill Mooring, Cody Mooring, Jessica Mooring, Cody Allison, Tabitha Mooring and Elizabeth Mooring and great grandfather to Makenzie Labeth, Aliza Labeth, Jaxon Labeth, Kimberly Rodriguez, Nevaeh Mooring, and Julian Mooring.
Billy will be greatly missed for his big heart and fun personality even right up to his last day.
The family of Billy would like to thank everyone for the love and support they have shown in the months leading up to his passing.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at 10 am at Melendez-Sherman Funeral Home. 6409 Upshaw Humble, TX. 77396.
