Carol Anderson Sutton, 83, of Kingwood Texas went to be with her Lord on December 17th 2016 at her home, after a long battle with Parkinson's. Carol was born and raised in Rochester, Michigan. She met Eral at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She finished her college degree at Letourneau University at age 62.
She was the beloved wife of Eral for over 62 years and mother to 6 children, Vikki, Mike, David, Sandy, Sally, Carrie and chosen mother to Wendy Hemphill. She left a legacy of prayer by praying in detail weekly for her 6 children, 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jim, sister Sally, and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and this shone brightly in her active life of service in many programs she led and served. These included: Cub Scouts Den Mother, teaching Sunday school classes for many age groups, 3D (diet, discipline and discipleship) which she led for a multi-state region, Women's Prison Ministry and Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Carol was a member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Kingwood 1599 Northpark Dr Kingwood, TX 77339. The memorial service was held on Thursday the 22nd of December at 11am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials of giving be made to Grace Reformed Baptist Church to be distributed to support missions.

Grace and Comfort to the Sutton family. Our loss is Christ's gain. Though I knew not Carol personally, I enjoy her legacy of family. It has been a blessing to come to know Carrie and Doug Hixon.
May the Lord grant grace through the tears to rejoice and celebrate her life. May the God of all Comfort meet each and every need.

So very sorry for your loss. She sounds like a wonderful, godly wife and mother. Now I know where you get it from Carrie. Our prayers are with you all.

Carol was a Proverbs 31 woman and we will dearly miss her. She was a great prayer warrior and was always quick to bring all people and problems to the Lord in prayer. We had many good years of skiing at Lake Tahoe and playing endless Bridge. She was a good bridge player and a great sport. We will miss you. Dave & Jeanie Northrup

Always a caring lady and concerned for my family. We lived next door to her for 19 years, a long time on Mistletoe and she always loved us and our dog Lucy (Lucy loved being with Carol & Eral!) we had many conversations about family and God. We will miss her! Love Randy & Andrea Montes

What a great neighbor and friend. Carol would walk every morning in her green warm up suit and talk to kids at the bus stop then make it on down the road and I would see her as I was going to work. Many times I would stop and talk to her and then she would say I'll pray for you that you have a Blessed day. She was a true prayer warrior and was loved by so many of us. We were Blessed by having her in our lives.

The first time I met my dear friend, Carol, was when she and Earl transferred their letter from Founder's Baptist to Grace Reformed Baptist in Kingwood. From the moment our eyes met I knew I had a sister in Christ from the sparkle and depth they held with such great love for everyone. She helped me grow in the LORD by teaching a woman's Bible study class and mentoring me with great wisdom that only comes from knowing GOD. I will see you in eternity my sweet sister, Reba

I will always remember Mrs. Sutton as a Godly woman who created a welcoming home for all who entered in, especially for a young college girl in 1980 and 81 who was a long way from her own family. Her life exemplified Christ in every way I could see - she was such a role model!! I love the Sutton family.
