Daniel Wilson Obituary
Daniel Wilson passed away October 16, 2017 surrounded by his children. He was born August 5, 1944 to the late Mozelle and Clyde Wilson.
He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam war. While he was enlisted, he earned a Marksman badge, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Daniel was preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Dan Wilson of the Woodlands, Kellie Wilson of Cleveland and Christy Wilson-Reyna of Cleveland. He also leaves behind 2 brothers, 9 grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and friends.
The family will gather at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060 for a graveside service with military honors on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2:30PM.

I would like to give my deepest sympathy to the family of Daniel Wilson. I don't have the words to give you piece, but I can give you a poem.
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord
