Born on July 20, 1935
Entered Paradise on September 9, 2015. Robbie was born in Fostoria, Texas. She worked for Montgomery County Sheriff's Dept. as a dispatcher for several years. Robbie was a long standing, 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She had an unwavering faith in God and was a long time member of Security First Baptist Church. Robbie always enjoyed Sunday lunches out with her friend Virginia Perry.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Frank Coffield; daughter Deborah Reeves and husband Corkey; her 3 granddaughters Chrystol Cox, Karen Martinez, and Beckie; 3 great-granddaughters Shelby, Taylor and Leah and great grandson Evan; 2 nieces Ann Parrish and husband Wayne, Rena Davis and husband Jim. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by father, Claude F. Rutherford; mother, Rillie Charlotte Whitmire Rutherford; brother, Claude J. Rutherford and sister, Jewel Rutherford.
The family is thankful for the spiritual care and comfort she received from Father Jim Monroe from the Holy Cross Church and from Deacon Larry Stone, Deacon Bo Grimes, Mike Johnson and her church family. Thank You to Maria Frazier and Virginia Perry for their special devotion and care.
Many thanks go to her granddaughter Karen Martinez for her love, dedication and hard work to make her grandmother's memorial special and from the heart.
The memorial was held September 25, 2015 at Security First Baptist Church.
